Highly recommend! We had a great 1 night stay in Valpo. The front desk staff were all so friendly, spoke great English, and had excellent food recommendations. The room was spacious w/ natural lighting, bed comfy with extra blanket/pillows, and nice bathroom and shower. The terrace has an amazing view of the city and even a bartender up there on weekend nights (til midnight I believe). Nice touch and met some other travelers there. Location was excellent for exploring Valpo.

This small hotel will not disappoint! The decor is lovely and the terrace on top has one of the best views in Valpo day and night. Ask Chris the bartender for Pisco Sour and watch this performance! Not to mention the taste. Our Spanish is not good but Florencia was so helpful downloading maps snd suggesting walks and places for lunch and dinner . The breakfast room food ( homemade breads and carrot cake and eggs done as ordered) snd staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect walking distance to places in Valpo. Florencia and staff arranged a wine tour for our drive to Santiago . Everything was special ! Thanks from Canada

Wonderful stay at Casa Galos! We were there 4 nights and stayed in the Bellavista suite, absolutely stunning views. The rooftop terrace is incredible, bed is very comfortable, AC works great. Loved the decor, and the room was quiet, comfy, and spacious. The only cons were the shower water pressure was basically nonexistent for hot water, and there were several times we weren’t able to shower because there wasn’t any hot water available. Understandable given the building age and pipes, but still worth noting. I also felt the breakfast could have been better given the price of the stay.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for restaurants! The loft room we had was just awesome. So spacious and comfortable. And then you have the rooftop terrace view as a huge bonus. Don’t hesitate. Great place to stay!

We travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed. Casa Galos looked plain from outside but the inside exceeded our expectations in every way. The location on the Cierra Alegre hill is perfect, safe, close to many restaurants, artisan shops, best street art places and other attractions. Breakfasts were excellent, eggs made to your taste, fresh fruit, great coffee, it felt like visiting your grandma. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the town. We stayed there one night and sipped wine and watched the sunset. The hotel design is tasteful, with reused wood and a lot of natural light, full of character. Rooms are well appointed and big. We believe that our room was the best. We stayed in Room # 5 ( Bellavista). It’s a corner room with panoramic views of the town. At the end of the day we were running to our room to enjoy the views. The bed was huge and comfortable with good reading lights. The bathroom was enormous with a good shower and a big

Great overall hotel that is very friendly to international travelers. Location is top notch...on a quiet street just outside the main attractions. Breakfast spread was large and welcoming — one of the better hotel breakfasts we had during our 2.5 month stay in South America. Reception was friendly and welcoming and they speak great English as well as French. We had a loft room which was as described and large and accommodating. We did wish the bathroom was a little more modern. We would return to this hotel in future stays in Valparaíso.
