Fabulous location , great views from the top floor over the beautiful city .The rooms were very clean and comfortable ,the breakfast was made fresh to order and very friendly staff.Would love to stay there again .

We travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed. Casa Galos looked plain from outside but the inside exceeded our expectations in every way. The location on the Cierra Alegre hill is perfect, safe, close to many restaurants, artisan shops, best street art places and other attractions. Breakfasts were excellent, eggs made to your taste, fresh fruit, great coffee, it felt like visiting your grandma. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the town. We stayed there one night and sipped wine and watched the sunset. The hotel design is tasteful, with reused wood and a lot of natural light, full of character. Rooms are well appointed and big. We believe that our room was the best. We stayed in Room # 5 ( Bellavista). It’s a corner room with panoramic views of the town. At the end of the day we were running to our room to enjoy the views. The bed was huge and comfortable with good reading lights. The bathroom was enormous with a good shower and a big

Great overall hotel that is very friendly to international travelers. Location is top notch...on a quiet street just outside the main attractions. Breakfast spread was large and welcoming — one of the better hotel breakfasts we had during our 2.5 month stay in South America. Reception was friendly and welcoming and they speak great English as well as French. We had a loft room which was as described and large and accommodating. We did wish the bathroom was a little more modern. We would return to this hotel in future stays in Valparaíso.
